It is a shelf that has a rolling felt shade.....it goes up into the shelf when not in use....and is down when in use. You can roll your blocks up too, but I haven't tried that yet!

Now that is a neat concept! I like the fact it conceals in a shelf.

I've added the last two borders....now to layer and start quilting. I have a bit less than 2 weeks to get it finished (at least to the point of handstitching the border). I have a business trip to the town the recipient lives in and I would rather hand deliver than have to ship it! Plus I would be very afraid of it getting lost in the mail!

I added a "garden maze" border paper pieced that I found online for free...I had a tough time with the corners and had to add a bit in the middle of the bottom.
