Default Hurricane Sandy/ Moda's Summer Breeze Quilt

I have a g/f from high school who lost absolutely everything in the storm. When I saw the need for quilts for those effected by the storm my thoughts turned to Sharon. I had been hanging onto my Summer Breeze collection of fabric and decided I would make a new keepsake for her. I chose the Stepping Stones pattern from Lyer Cake, Jelly Roll and Charm Quilts by Pam and Nicky Lintott. I completed the sandwiching of this quilt and binding using Elmer's Washable School Glue and couldn't be more happy with the results. I FMQ this on my Sapphire 830, put a label on it, washed it at the laundry mat with a couple of Color Catchers and sent it by Fedex on Monday afternoon to New Jersey.
