I didn't want to pay $15 with shipping for a cone thread holder. I would rather buy material. So hubby made one for me. Also one end of my sewing room. Not elaborate, but enough. Only one more thing I want to add - a wall board.

love your sewing room, with great windows. I spy a lovely cedar chest too. Tell hubby he did great on that spool holder!

Very nice thread holder.

I spied the cedar chest I have two of them upstairs in the loft filled with ? don't even no what's in them anymore.

I love your sewing room too.

Nice hubby and great sewing room. I had one of those cedar chests gave it to my daugther my grandmother had gave it to me.

Love your sewing room and your cedar chest. I lost 2 in a fire I had in 1996 and haven't been able to find any to replace them.

Thank you. I keep quilts waiting to be given in the cedar chest or other finished projects. Have some larger-sized crocheted bags (out of Wal-Mart bags) in there, too. Also some purses I crocheted.
