Hubby had lots of quilts for you to recycle. All your quilts are fabulous. Love the idea of the pockets for cars. Will it be a wall quilt? Great organizing idea for a kids' room.

I really like the look of quilts made from shirts. When/if I ever get my stash down I'll shop thrift stores since DH doesn't wear many woven shirts.

it is a baby quilt. My nephew will get it in January at his baptism. He will be 7 months old. Obviously he won't use the matchbox cars for a while but having somewhere to put toys is fun.

What a great idea! With charity quilts a small angel and maybe a soft heart would be nice. Thanks for the idea. Merry Christmas.

You are a very clever quilter! Way to re-purpose. Great job.

I like all three of them! The stars pattern is one I've always admired and I'm going to file away your idea for the pockets - they might make a great addition to an I Spy quilt.

Wonderful idea. I have a bunch of grandpa's shirts--too bad my grandson is too big for something like that now. Guess I'll have to find another little boy to make one for.

Clever idea and great job. Usually DH's shirts are thread-bare everywhere before he parts with them Merry Christmas!
