Default I’ve been on a kwik sew kick this week…

All these are kwik sew patterns, each pattern or two, took one day. T-shirt, slim skirt, and t-shirt dress. So fast to make and easy to make. And that t-shirt dress is so comfy.

wow, quick work. I used to make my own clothing and my son's when he was little. Went onto quilting and never looked back.
Good going on your projects.

Good for you....sometimes you just have to do something different for yourself. I can't remember the last article of clothing I made, somewhere around 2006 probably and it was a simple summer dress. Have often thought about making simple summer dresses again, but then I chicken out. Maybe if I had a serger I would give it a try again.

Great job on your new projects. Sewing knits on a serger makes it so much faster and easier, doesn't it?!
I was a Home Economics major many, many years ago and made everything from bathing suits to tailored coats but pretty much quit when the kids were past toddler stage and developed personal preferences LOL The last clothing item I made was a dress as mother-of-the-bride in 2017 while I was in the throws of receiving chemo for breast cancer. I was so tired so didn't want to go shopping, so just did baby steps to complete the simple dress. I actually wore it again this past week at a luau in Hawaii to celebrate our 50th anniversary with all the kids and grandkids. It was not a knit, but a rayon batik.

It's always a WIN when you make clothes you will actually wear! Yours look great. I love QuikSew patterns and have used them since my kids were small (the 80s/90s).

Another Quick Sew fan here. You did a lovely job on your new "Duds". I wish I had more time to sew.
