Henry,

So many pillows! You'd have to throw them off the couch to even sit down...

I think you ought to make a quilt out of some of the silk materials. Maybe treat it like a crazy quilt in that you don't use a batting but just put a heavy back on it and tack it.

Two web sites that should be helpful:

http://www.nmia.com/~mgdesign/qor/styles/crazy/crzayqlt.htm

http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Lofts/6531/

The first one seems like it it gives a simple overview of how to make a crazy quilt, the second is pretty extensive. Some of the links are broken, but still has a lot of information.

Have fun!

There's no doubt about it. Henry is preparing a comfy place for me to come visit. Since I'm in VA and he's in NC we could have a weekend quilting party and if all you could come too........who's gonna bring the snacks?

Henry- WOW! You must stay busy 24/7. Those are great pillows and I love the different fabrics.

Lois, I love those quilts. I think Suebonnet Sue is my favorite!

Hi Lorretta! I tried to send you a reply last night but my keyboard decided to take a rest and I couldn't type anything! :x Glad it decided to behave this evening. I can't remember the name of the Sue on my quilt (been 13 yrs ago) but if I find the pattern I will let you know. Maybe someone else will know what it is called. I think I got it out of an old magazine. I'll look for it.
