Rose Irish deserves great Kudoes for her work. She bought the fabric, initiated and coordinated the emails, mailings and then she assembled it plus HAND QUILTED it!! Our blocks were due October 1st, and even with some blocks getting to Rose late, she did all the assembly and quilting by hand by about December 1st or so. Amazing.

Today the mailman brought me this lovely quilt made by so many people on this board: roseirish48, plays with color, Sharon Theriault, Slicksister, Sheepshed, Anastasia, Rhonda, zozee, Marshaeieio, Sew Tracy, Jvan, word painter vs, katz'nkwiltz, topper1, Liz 22, sapphireRae, mandyRose, StitchinPost, Boston1954, Kelly Hauser, tucky quilter and Nelco. Still in shock that they would do this when we've never even met in person! thanks to all of you many times over!

no real occasion other than to acknowledge a friendship. last year a bunch of us collaborated on a friendship quilt for Sew_Tracy and the year before that, a bunch did one for me. just passing on the favor . would love to hav this become a yearly thing--any nominations for 2016?
