I was thinking the same thing....I think Hazeljane wins or close second...
I'm a total slob with fabric and paper. I think that it's because I almost never plan a quilt at the start. I have some ideas and I start, and often get distracted by a new idea in the middle and start again, and when I am looking for that exact piece of fabric that will make it all work (in my head) everything in my way gets flung around.

My bedroom, kitchen and den are almost always neat. The bedroom, because we only sleep and dress there, the kitchen because it's nasty to be messy where you eat and cook, and the den because it is the main living area for us and 10 dogs, and also my day job location, so for sanity sake, it is usually lived in but tidy.

Mousie and Edie have bought out the fabric shops, and the rest of us quilters are left with the crumbs!

Love you room, especially the design wall and having a sink in your sewing area. Curious- what pattern are you using for putting the grandmother's flower garden quilt together? What size hex's are those? I'm making one (one inch) and haven't decided how to put it together yet- have a long ways to go before having to make that decision. What color green is that?
I designed my studio and my husband built it in the house I also designed & he built...anyway I bought that green about 12 years ago and have worked on that Grandmothers Flower Garden off & on ever since..so don't know the name, but it is a 30's repro green. My hex's are 1" (measured one side) didn't really have a pattern when I started putting it together...just went with what I liked. The design wall is three 4'X8' pc.s of foam insulation board attached to the wall & covered in batting...love love love it!!!!
