Thank you
yes, the two sets of placemats are my favorite also.
as for the pillow, it usually is on a bed with a burgundy bed cover, il looks better than with the light beige of the lazy boy chair. but we are redoing the basement and the room floors. My house is filted with dust nowadays... I guess I'll have to do a big spring cleaning all over, this year.

You did a fantastic job with your first projects. Your points are great and overall everything looks so good. I love your first placemats with the 9 patch in the corners. Just keep going because you are off to a wonderful start.

Wow you did great. LeMoyne star is not an easy block! I like the colors you picked for those blocks they play very nicely together and I think look wonderful. I started a lot like you too. I made some patchwork pieces following instructions from a book then took a class. We made a drunkards path, a 9 patch an applique block and a star block. But I was hooked right away. I bought more of the fabrics I used in my class blocks and ended up making the whole sampler bed size quilt on my own following the instructions in the book they had us buy for the class. The rest is history.
Do you think you may want to make a big quilt some day?

Very nice projects, looks like you was able to learn a lot of different techniques.
Hopefully some day you will be ready to take your talent and make a bed size quilt you'll do great. :D :D
