    I don't think it's ugly BUT, having said that, making the beige sashing strips a little narrower may have helped (maybe) or maybe not. Beauty is, as they say, in the eye of the beholder.

    I think it is fine. And as others have pointed out, someone will love it. Certainly someone will appreciate the warmth it can offer them.

    I like it! You are not asking but I am just saying that the 'blank brown' needs some stitching or applique. Would love to see this quilt when it is quilted.

    it is not ugly at all. I love how you layed out the pattern very interesting. As DebraK said quilt it up and go from there. but I like it myself. nice job,

    You've made a nice quilt! I'd quilt the tan borders/sashings with red/blue/steel gray threads in an interesting design, then the rest of the pieced sections in off-white or an offset thread selection to pull it all together in a very nice way. How it's quilted can make it all work together.
