I'm in the same boat as you. The Hubby thing!!! Just need to work on him a bit more!

I don't have a barn either but we have a shed I won from a raffle our high school did for homecoming floats. Our construction class made them as floats for homecoming and each class created one. It was used as a fundraiser for the school and then the floats went home with the winners. No more leftover floats to dispose of. I won the Junior class float in 2011. Our school colors are red and white. It is bright but I love it. My husband surprised me and made a few changes to the door and added a barn quilt block he made. Enjoy!

These are great ideas! I do plan to do a "barn quilt" some day and put it on your wood shed where I can see it from the dining room window. One on the front of the garage would be cool too. I just can't decide what block to use.

That's great. Heck I would paint one very 2 feet, that would be the talk of the town! Coming from someone of course that isnt' doing the labor! I do love the idea though. I have chain link fence so that won't work for me unfortunately!

Love the idea, think I'll do this on my back yard gate, then it can be seen from the street. also have 2 storage buildings that could use a quilt block. Thanks for the idea.
