Very cute, I like your idea, I may just borrow it and do this on my fence.

How simple and how eye catching. I've been spazzing about how to make a separate panel for my barn quilt, and you've beautifully take all the hard work out.

Hey that works great! All of us can't live on a ranch or farm, what a great idea. Now be sure to paint an outline of this great state we both live in and some bluebonnets or the great Lone Star Flag. Guess you know this is from a fellow Native Texan.

Cute idea! Must have been tricky to paint on the fence slots, but you did it really well.

IMO, this method of making a barn quilt is the simplest, easiest, faster method I've ever seen. What would be difficult? Drawing the pattern? Loading the paint brush?

I do so appreciate her fence slats method. In fact, I think I'm going to change my original design and paint directly on hubby's barn siding. If I can find the correct paint to work on the painted aluminum siding.
