Friends have generous hearts - my Pfaff died on Friday, right in the middle of making stuff for an exhibition and now a friend has lent me her machine so that I can finish. I'm sure your quilt will be a labour of love. I will make the offer to quilt my friend's first quilt. She wants to send it out for quilting but cannot afford. Enjoy your new possessions.
