    What a clever way to tone down your quilt!! I like the scrappy look and the colors look old-time patch-work charming.

    :thumbup: Good for you Mary!! I love that you did this to the quilt. I've done it a few times to wall hangings and just did it to my bathroom curtains. I'm planning on doing my kitchen/dining room window curtains, plus my bedroom curtains and quilt (when it's done) with tea dye and walnut stain bath. I'm waiting for the weather to warm up though as I like the suns effect on it too.

    Nice job! What a great quilt! I like bright quilts sometimes and sometimes it's nice to have a quiet one.
