I finally have a dedicated quilting area!

The closets were built by the contractor that finished the basement but DH and I installed all the shelves. I measured everything and set the shelves at the height I desired to have them for maximum usage.
The closets are actually the full length of the room but to accommodate standard door sizes that I may want to add later I made two openings rather than having them be open all the way across. Ann

Thanks! The only thing more I would have liked was to have had a place for this room upstairs. I like being in voice contact with DH and he is a little hard of hearing so anytime I have something to say I have to go to the stairwell and holler. Think maybe I will have to fish out the baby monitor so he can hear what I am saying. Ann

Oh Ann! I know all about that! I am currently in a side-split & sew in a bedroom on the top. DH (who is also hard of hearing)"lives" in his "batcave" in the family room on the lower level. I got tired of yelling and getting up to hear him, myself, so.....it came a point we needed new phones....and ended up buying a cordless 3 pack that also has an intercom function. It is the best thing since sliced bread - no more hollering!!!!
