Makes me want to brush up on handquilting again......beautiful work! Do you use a hoop or a frame? I have one of those PVC frames...I should unpack it and put it together.....

BTW. What brand handquilting thread do you use? I know of a group of hand quilters who dip spools of regular (?) thread into melted wax, and use that...ever hear of doing that ?????

Just wonderful! There is so little hand quilting these days and I do love to see it done. Yours is just perfect...so precise and such tiny little stitches. The thread colors stand out so well. Congratulations on a job well done. This is truly a keepsake.

Your quilting is beautiful. Love the secondary pattern created when the blocks are placed together. Nice work!

Thank you for sharing, such a treat to see your hand quilting. You do beautiful work. May I ask what needles you use to hand quilt (brand and size) and what thimble you use also. I am a newer quilter who does handwork exclusively and I sympathize, I feel sometimes I piece to quilt and I don't have anything to quilt at the moment either so I am piecing as quick as I can as I love the practice of hand quilting.

beautiful!!!! Your stitches are beautiful!

your comment about not having another project made me giggle. I'm trying to time the completion of a Dr Seuss wallhanging and my green log cabin variation - also a Judy Martin pattern.

Pictures coming soon.
