I love the color combo's you created with just blues! I always choose blue if I have to say just one favorite color. I've saved the photo of this because I'd like to copy it. Someday - ahh, so many somedays to come!

Quilting can help us through a lot of hard times. Quilting and this board helped me get through my DD's death almost a year ago :-( ...I am okay now, and have made a lot of quilts.... :)

Wow, that is beautiful. Blue is my very favorite color. That pattern is great. What a pretty scrappy quilt. Thanks for sharing.

A little more info on this quilt. I thought (!) I had figured out all the measurements to have all the HST's come together in one piece. Lo and behold - they DID NOT! Then I had to figure out what size to make the inner border. I didn't have the books then that I do now to help me with that, and I was scared to death that I couldn't do it. But I did! I did!
Now I like the way those borders contain the craziness that I was going through. See how calm I look in the outer borders? Not really - I'm still crazy. But the swirls are gone. By the way - this was made back in 1996. I'm over it! And happy. Thank you all for your nice thoughts.

Beautiful quilt. I'm glad you are looking towards the future.
...No one can go back and make a brand new start, but anybody can start from now and make a brand new ending... thats one of my fav quotes.
All the best to your!
