first, we'll get the 'wonderful' part out of the way. we all know you're wonderful. i might be your biggest fan, as you know. i love your work like crazy and am not ashamed to say i am envious of your talent. :-(

now tell me this: on picture #024, do i see a zipper? with a quilt basted on by gun? please tell me what that's all about. i keep reading about leaders that zip on and off. is this it? why?

Gorgeous quilting! It's great to see what quilting can be, beyond the traditional straight-line graids, feather patterns and squiggles.

I don't know why you say this is a piecing site. I'm new, but nothing I've seen says it's restricted to piecing. I expect to see all the stages of quiltmaking covered here.

I appreciate it when someone takes the time to explain things, the way you have. Please keep it up!

I liked all the 'practice' designs, and no, I never saw the 'sperm' until you mentioned them! Thank you for posting the pics. Please keep sending them.

OMG, now I REALLY want a longarm. What wonderful work! I don't know why you would ever hesitate to show it to us. Now we want more and more and more!

Your work is absolutely gorgeous! I have been reading this news letter and quilting board for about a year now and making very few comments (this is because I have very little experience and don't feel as if I have anything to contribute). I have to say though, looking at your work is very inspiring.
I do feel now that I have enough stash built up to actually start piecing. It is a dream of mine to someday own a quilt shop with a couple of longarms for people to come in and learn with and use.
The town that I live in no longer has a single place to buy fabric. We do have a couple of second hand stores where clothes could be used for quilting and they sometimes have scraps people have donated.
I feel quilting is part of our heritage that should not be forgotten or taken lightly. OK I guess I am rambling, but I think a quilt shop in a community would not only add to the revenue, but an involuble sense of freindship and community. I'll hush now. :D

Jackie,

I am curious how you get it to look like one design? Don't you have to do it a section at a time, and then roll it to do another section?

Thanks for showing your work! I love it!

Jackie, Jackie, Jackie!!!!! #1 : you couldnt be obnoxious if you tried! # 2 the quilting stage is just one part of the process, so of course it belongs on this site!!! #3 Your work is so inspirational!!!!
Now just get that silly notion out of your head!!!! You dont want me to come down to Las Vegas and convince you otherwise!!!!

Ok now that you are thoroughly chastised! I love the curly fans! And of course the feathers! All of it fantastic, but I have to say that I liked those one designs until I read the part where you said it looked like sperm!!! Now they just make me laugh!!!
