    Your Radiant Suns quilt is lovely. My avatar is radiant suns in rusts and turquoises. It ended up being king sized, because I couldn't quit making the blocks. So much fun. The pattern can be purchased online from Doodle Press.

    Love your idea. I am considering getting the sew-ezi extension table and it would be perfect for pinning my quilts in the same manner you are doing it.

    I can see why you would love an island. And here the builder was probably think something like using it to eat or prepare food. The probably weren't married to a resourceful quilter. And the quilt is gorgeous too

    This has to be the prettiest and most expensive basting table ever.... No eating allowed. Perfect!

    That's how I baste my quilts as well. Tried spray basting once - not for me!!
