the only part that may be a bit tricky is sewing the rounded edges if you haven't done it before but that is not as difficult as it seems if you use alot of pins. i started off sewing by making stuffed animals so for me the curves were nothing. these boots use alot of quilting skills like binding. i skipped the fusible binding because i spray basted instead. if you are worried about things lining up the fusible would help that, i didn't find it necessary. i used scrap batting instead of fleece for warmth and left out the foam in the insoles because i don't have any and can't get any locally(rural location) i used two layers of warm and soft and two layers of insulated batting for oven mitts. i am probably going to elasticise the next pair.

I found the pattern at kaye wood's site for a dollar less and ordered it! Thanks for the heads up on the pattern.

Has anyone told Charisma that she has a boot pattern named after her? Hey Charisma, you need to make a pair of these. Bet they would come in handy in WA.
