LAWSONMUGS, which part of the state are you from? I'm in the Kansas City side.

Sew glad you got to meet. I also wish that there were people here in Marin County that I could visit with. I am so thankful that I have all of you out there. I call you all "my way out there friends". BrendaK

One of out LQS always says on their blog" grab a friend or two and sew- it's good for the soul". And it truly is. I sew with a group every Wednesday and I look forward to it every week.

So glad you found a friend with similar interests. Lynnie, from her posts, seems like a very generous person, with her time and talents. I can see a long time friendship for the two of you. I have met several people in person, and carry on a correspondence with a couple more, here on the board. There is nothing to compare to having a friend with common interests. It is fun and fuels your creativity too. The people here are the best. You will get more comfortable with your free time in retirement, and then never look back. Most people wonder how they ever had time to work!

Here is a picture of the inside of Lynnie's gift, I don't think I explained it very well in words. I put my mini yo yo maker in, small scissors, a spool of thread and a threaded needle, and there is still plenty of room.
