I only hate those mistakes when I first find them.. Then of course I have to take more time deciding what to rip.. or if I want to just make a design change.. Once I start ripping I am no longer bothered by it. . After everything is said and done, we all know that ripping is just one part of this great hobby.. If you never have to rip you're a better quilter than anyone on the board, or you just don't care! Whatever you decide to do will be just fine.

Oh darn, I have done that and not caught the mistake until the quilt was all made.
I am one that would take the 4 patches off and switch them around ..but it is your quilt and your design. Sometimes little oppes are happy accidents that make beautiful quilts.
Can't wait to see what it looks like done. Love the colors BTW.

If you take the center block apart and turn it 1/4 turn and sew seams vertically, you will only have 1/2 the seams (be they longer) to rip. Although, then some of the seams might not run the same direction throughout the quilt.
Sorry for your misfortune of having to deal with the ripper.
