Exclamation I Spy Happy Scrappy!!

A friend gave me some blocks with a teal strip and I found a teal in my stash to match hers in order to add to those blocks that needed it to all measure the same. So some blocks have 2 strips and others only needed one. Then I decided to do a big 4P with them. I started this quilt top 6 mos. ago on the design wall with large HST's but put it away to do something else (famous last words).

I believe it will make a little boy happy! There's everything in it you can think of little boys would like! Here's some close-ups of the prints that are hard to see. Hope you like it and are inspired to make one! Another 2 day quilt top!!

What a fun quilt. Many hours of "spotting" on that one.

Very cute I Spy quilt. Some little boy will really love it. I really like the stripe border you put around the blocks.

I have been collecting novelty fabrics - boyish fabrics - to make an "I Spy" for my soon-to-be six-year-old grandson.
