Love the Butterfinger fabric! (Love Butterfingers too, of course) What a great idea! I wouldn't have enough different novelty fabrics to make one, but it would be a great game for the grands while traveling.

How fun to look at! I do imagine kids having fun with I Spy quilts. I like your layout with the sashing and cornerstones. Keeps it from being too busy, which is a challenge with I Spy for me, designwise.

Thanks, everyone! I've been collecting I Spy fabrics for a long time. For years I sold 5" sets in my Etsy shop.

A good way to get enough squares to make a blanket is to join the I Spy squares swap, here on the board. I think you only need to buy 10 fabric pieces to have enough to swap, and you get back a big variety.

nice I Spy, and I love your backing fabric, too. I found that Missouri Star has an I Spy layer cake --if you cut into 4ths it could make almost 4 quilts.

Such a cute quilt. Love the way you put 4 different I spy blocks in each big block. That will make the children have more of a challenge looking for certain things.

Very nice! I like your use of the cloud fabric for the back. I made 2 of them for our GSs. They were the same block pattern but different patterns for some of the blocks. That way the boys were able to look for the ones that were alike on their quilts. Also, I included blocks that each contained one letter of their name and a block with a picture of the boy at that age. They have really enjoyed their quilts by Grandma Karen.
