Thank you! The fabrics are batiks. I was able to use a bunch of scraps as well as a few FQ's. Each center star is a different fabric combination and the geese are what ever ones looks good with the block. There is a flying geese outer border too but the background fabric is the geese and the scrap pieces are the small triangles. I made one for the LQS when I worked there but it was like the pattern and had 12 blocks from the Kansas Troubles fabric line. My will be queen size and from batiks. It is not a pattern that is done in a short time but it is so worth the effort. The Big Book of Scrap Quilts is one of my favorite quilting books.

One trick that I discovered is when you draw the line diagonal on many, many of the blocks, stitch on the outside edge of the line or the geese block will be a bit too small and the center will cup like an "A" cup. We can't have that!!!
