It is beautiful, you are good and fast, I hear you about sewing almost 8 hrs a day and more, that is what we do when we get our selves stretched too far. Wonderful job and I am sure She will love it. If not send it my way. Merry Christmas by the way

Thanks! Yes...I'll fix the second spot I spotted one of the mistakes--my DH later spotted the other one)...and it's not quilted yet.

Today's goal is to pick out and prepare some backing--which is going to be a chore--

tomorrow, sandwich and decide on quilting, maybe quilt an hour as I have to go shopping, etc. DS#3's (16) birthday is on Friday, so I have to spend a few minutes thinking about that. The great thing about having them get older is that they want more expensive things so shopping gets shorter--(fewer things since they cost more)...and much more specific! Makes life so much easier than when they were all home and little.

Actually...sewing that many hours is a pleasure...pure and simple since it was something I want to make.

You're so right! Some of us have this quilt figured out on paper and here she's gotten ready for the quilt frame. Amazing and such a generous gift!
