Congratulations! You deserved every single ribbon they could possibly hand out! I remember you showing us this quilt after you finished it & how you described the personal family event of each block. Such a fun, memorable, heirloom quilt for your family! Thanks for the update on how it did. Personally, I think it should go to an International Quilt Festival (if you're willing to let it travel....I guess on second thought, I would not like it out of my sight)

Big time congratulations!! That is huge, BOS, Grand Champion, that is definitely reason to brag and well deserved as well. I too rememer when you first posted these blocks and how each one had significance to your family. So happy for you. Now display those ribbons in your sewing area so you can gaze upon them as you plan your next winner.
