I have a swoon quilt in my future, bought all new fabrics but haven't yet taken the plunge. My colors will be pink brown and orange with lots of white. Maybe I'll start in January when I'll need a blast of warmth from pink brown and orange prints!

found the tutorial for the 16" Swoon block at http://doublenickelquilts.blogspot.c...ilt-block.html she sure makes it look easy to do. I have a large Dutch Rose quilt in progress, actually started 20+ years ago and her updated tutorial would have been a great help. Better dig it out to see if I can make it easier to finish it.

I think the Swoon Block is a rage right now. I think it looks a lot like the Carpenter Wheel. I did a Carpenter Wheel a couple years ago in all 1/2 squares. And although you didn't, it could be made that way, but instead of the 1/2 square white center blocks, if those were all the white color, it would look like te Carpenter Wheel. And I know that is a greatly loved block. I love the Swoon Block, and I love your colors and I like the way you quilted it.
