Default If Swoon Blocks are in - I'm making one

Two weeks ago, I saw a post that Swoon Blocks are all the rage. I had to ask the question - what are they? I did some research, drew the pattern and picked the fabric. I had recently done a swap with another board member for her scraps - and just couldn't wait to use this awesome black and gold floral. It was my project for Virtual Quilt Day last Sunday. The hand quilting took a little more time. 24" square. I think it will make a great table center.

I have not heard of "swoon" blocks until someone posted about them. Where can I find more info on them. I'm thinking they would be good gifts and I think Christmas is not to far in the future.

I totally love this block!! So you made the pattern yourself? I didn't want to buy the pattern, but would like the 24" size. There is a tutorial for a 16" size online. Your block is gorgeous!!
