Might you add some nice color to it? I saw these online and would love to make them myself someday soon

B is the classiest combination, but the smaller print in C might be more pleasing to the eye, especially if she loves the color. I'd make sure the combination is one she would really enjoy.

    IMHO

I agree with Kathy. I'd love the darker prints mixed with a cream color or off-white to soften them a little and make the colors pop.

I really wanted to use a cream-ish TOT. None in my stash though. :( In effort to honour my Granny, who uses what she has and is very frugal, I'm not buying anything new for this project.
How about an old white sheet?

I wanted to make a quilt for my Granny for Christmas, but time just didn't allow it and I didn't even have the chance to get it started, and bought her something. So I'm going to make one now, and give it to her "just because". But I'm stuck. Granny is 78 and I'm sure she would love anything I made just because I made it for her...but I have too many options and don't know what to do. LOL

I'm making a single irish chain lap quilt. Traditionally, they seem to be just two contrasting colours...Below are my options. One of them is a collection of coordinating FQ's I have that I'd use either each in separate 9P's or all of them in one...I don't know...
I love them all but purple is my favorite.

A nice scrappy is always pretty and I would imagine she would like it also. Just use what you have on hand and scatter the like colors, you will be surprised how good it will look and Granny will love it too. I'm not as old as she is but, I love anything made for me.
