    NOW that's what I have soooo been missing....my early morning cuppa checking in on all the new messages sent while I was sleeping!! :D

    AND a big hello to all our new members...wow haven't we got a lot, it's going to take me MONTHS to check back through all the new topics to catch up on everyone's lovely work :shock: :lol: :roll: (I can see some late nights ahead...... :roll: :wink: :lol: )

    I had to make this up quick, so just appliqued the square rather than pieced...but the effect is just the same but a fraction of the time taken...thats what I like!!

    Here's a picture of the blocks layed out to make sure the colours are mixed up enough. I just stribbled it down on a piece of A4 squared paper, decided how many bordered blocks in the top, I didn't strip piece the two rails, just cut up lots of 6.5" X 3.5" rectangles and stitched dark/lights together randomly, lay them out on the floor, threw the diamonds on wherever...the picked the rows up to keep in order and Bob's your uncle done in a couple of hours!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

    Great for a beginner to do btw!! :D

    Oh Bless your little cotton socks!! You are all SOOOOOOOOOO lovely to me...anyway I KNOW I have missed y'all far more than you missed me, as there has been so much on the board to keep you all busy!! I have just layered up the quilt so I am off to start some quilting!!
