GREAT JOB on the piecing!!

I love this quilt. I think dark blue would be perfect for the border, but no flowers. My sons would kill me if I tried that. I love this quilt so much I am going to work something out like it with my step dads shirts for my mom. I know she will really love it. As far as the binding I would use a plaid just to make it interesting.

WOW! This turned out fantastic!! Just gorgeous....I like the blue paisely, but I'm with you, it needs to be a bit richer blue, however, it looks great too!

I'd go with a dark blue border, then bind in the red. Would make a smashing finish! Nice work!

I vote for the paisley--ties it all together so well! You did an awesome job on this quilt!

I usually love paisley's but I don't think I would use a paisley for this quilt. It is just a little too 'woman'ish' for the manly quilt! I think I would find a dark blue of some kind. Maybe you can find a small size plaid in blue! Great man's quilt you came up with! Bet your tall son will love it!
