This is a very beautiful quilt. What difference does it make whether you use old pieces or new. Don't let him bother you or anyone else bother you. I worked in a Dr's office for many yrs and came across many nasty people. I feel if you can't say anything nice don't say anything. You are doing a beautiful job and deserve many hugs so here goes hope it helps to make you feel better. Sue

Old people have the luxury of being opinionated and crotchety. We all have the luxury of smiling and completely ignoring them ;-) Hugs to you

I know it's a little late, but I would have given him one of your sly winky looks, and said, I just showed you mine...now let me see YOURs? And proceeded to question him on how he made it, quilted it etc;;;; I would have loved to embarass him. He was just jealous it wasn't his!

I think that the quilt is fantastic!!!!!! Don't ever let anyone make you feel bad about the work that you do. Some people can't stand to see someone achieve something that they know they could never even accomplish. Keep up the good work.

Oh that makes me mad! What does he know anyway? Should we all use rotary phones and hand cranked automobiles too? He needs to get with it. Your quilt is *stunning*!
