Awesome quilt. You need to put a blind ear to people like that

Let him go and make his quilt the way he wants. We've gotten smarter and better equipped. I wonder if his wife still does her wash in a wringer washing machine the way laundry had to be done back then or if she was allowed to come up to the present.

Your quilt is beautiful. Those kind of men are to tight to spend any money and can't stand to know that other pepole get pleasure spending their money. Don't let pepole like that take away you happiness

I would have felt like you did, just because words do hurt. I would have done what you did, and then wished I had responded with something better - like walking over to him and giving him a hug because he probably needed one!

Yes, your quilt is beautiful. Don't worry what that man had to say, you've worked very hard to make it beautiful and everyone knows it's beautiful too.

This gentleman(loosely used) obviously has no understanding of art and its many forms. Your quilt is beautiful and you as the artist, choose your medium and supplies with a skilled eye. Don't let ignorance ruin your day or the fact that you have talent as well as manners.

Some people are just not happy unless they make someone else unhappy. It is a beautiful quilt and just ignore the grumpy old man!
