    I'm so excited!

I finally finished one of my own quilts! I'm trying to remember when I pieced it, maybe 6 years ago. I've been a little to busy to quilt it, so in the closet it hung. Until now. Now to bind! It will hang in my studio.

It is lovely! Great quilt and the quilting is marvelous.
A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.

Drop dead gorgeous. This hung for 6 years ???? ..... unbelievable. I understand life does get in the way sometimes. The quilt is simply wonderfully done. The quilting sets it off to perfection. The spool colors is unique and outstanding. You can easily see hours of loving work put into this quilt. Thanks for sharing. Oops forgot the appliqué border is just beyond description. I so enjoy the look of appliqué dressing up or finishing of a quilt.

It's beyond beautiful! But your work always is.

I saw in another post picture that you have 2 LA machines. Is one computerized and the other not or ????? just curious.

Your work is truly beautiful. Most importantly, your enthusiasm is contagious. I am glad you do such lovely things for others;but, it is important to do things for yourself and you have done that with this quilt. Hanging on your studio space will allow you to enjoy it every day.

Beautiful quilt, beautiful quilting. Don't you get frustrated quilting for your job and no time to quilt for yourself?

Both are computerized Handi Quilter machines. But my first love is Freehand, as are the feathers on this quilt.

Yes, the pattern is by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts. It's called Friendship Spools.
