    The panels are from Holly Taylors 2009 collection called frosted memories and the pieced log cabin is scrappy greens, tans and reds, and some of those are also from Holly Taylors designs.

    If I were quilting it, I would do a meander with some kind of leaves.

    I guess I'm a different duck. I think Holly leaves quilted on the log cabins would look nice all over. Since its a Christmas quilt look at some Christmas applique designs. You know there are angels, snowmen, santas, reindeer, etc.

    I just never know what kind of quilting people are comfortable with, so I tried to keep it simple. I would love holly leaves.

    Log Cabin quilts have a lot of corners and straight lines so I prefer to soften it with a meander or something curvy or swirly. There is a stencil of loops and stars that would be cute. You could put feathers in the large border.

    I would keep with the block theme and just do a "square zig zag" -sort of greek looking I_
