    Imperial Diamonds

This is a king size quilt I made using the pattern from Fons&Porter's Love of Quilting July/Aug 2011 issue. This one is for DH's & my bed. It's just been two years now since I started quilting and in that time this is my 3rd king size of 38 total quilts of mostly lap & queen size. My goal is to make a quilt for each one of our kids, DGK's & DGGK's, 25 in all. Have made gifts in between so still have a few left to do.

I really enjoyed doing this one and thought it would be too hard for me but wanted to take the challenge. My DH told me it was well worth it. It is now at the LAQ to be quilted. Now I need to make us a quilt with spring & summer prints.

Thank you for looking and have a GREAT DAY!

Very nice!! I love the pattern and your color choices are superb.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

Congratulations on completing your lovely quilt! I love the colours in it. It is absolutely stunning! It sounds like you have been really hard at work making quilts since you began quilting. Thank you for sharing.

You have set a great challenge for yourself, and this quilt is a beauty! Have fun with the rest - you will have quite a body of work when you're done, and if you're like me, you'll have a long list of "the next things I want to do" by the time you finish this big batch!
