try silver thread, it seems to blend in .not gray silver.not matelic. paloma

I just got that ruler and hope to make something with it soon. Yours is lovely. Varigated thread might do well.

I am thinking white thread for quilting might work. Kind of bold, it will show up, but you could some great designs
