Your grandchild will treasure this beautiful quilt.
Would it be fun to ask the grandchild whom you are gifting the quilt, what design on the quilt they would prefer? Of course, you would have to give them examples within your range of quilting. Swirls or straight lines etc.

Too late to edit my post, so here is pattern info......sorry I neglected to include it.
Pattern was from "the Painted Quilt" blog by Kaaren Johnson as she interpreted it. Quilt name is Stopped Me In My Tracks! Kaaren was having health issues, and I do not believe her blog is still active, but hopefully her pattern info is still available.

How beautiful! You made it green....my favorite color!!! So happy I inspired you. I am so flattered Jill! How will you quilt it? I love how mine turned out and will keep it forever! Lol
