Default into the 2-1/2" strip bin again

Nothing special, just sorting out the smaller pieces. Made this and 2 others and cut pieces to make more. This is the only one with the green, it was a piece that didn't match anything and have been hanging on to it for a couple years. And at least I can close the bin now!

that's so fun! i love the 'double' strips and the background color. beautiful. (i couldn't find an 'embarrassed' face) it actually took me until i was looking at the bottom section of the quilt at the top of my screen (the whole quilt wasn't visible because i'm typing) to realize they're ALL double strips! at first glance i thought some were single strips and some lines were double. i'm so embarrassed. but i love it even more because of the trick it played on my eyes!!!!! well done!

Cute top! I saved a picture from Pinterest of a cute jelly roll pattern called Zipper quilt. It is similar to your two long strip pieces but had an added center strip done in squares of the the 2 alternating colours for the zip part.

I've done it that way, too, but needed something fast so this is what I did. But I like the zipper one a lot.
