Great space. Lots of natural light. Lots of room to spread out. Now how can I talk my family into letting me take over the living room?

Oh so nice to have all that rm.So nicely organized too.Congrats on being able to spread out.
Since my other half still has to work in a state other then the one we are buying our house in, I am here almost all the time by myself I have been toying w/ the idea of taking over the family rm.
Heres my thinking:
1] we would be forced to use the front living rm.-thats ok.
2] I could set-up the family rm into such a nice sewing space, did I mention it has bulit ins & a fireplace.
3] I would have to give up my sunny front window that I have in my current sewing rm.
4]The Fam. Rm is right off the dining/kitchen-no closing off the mess and it would be fair game for the pets.
5] but oh the space i could have....hmm same issues that I had when I was considering moving downstairs...darn it.
I will just have to live through your beautiful rm...enjoy for me lol.

Thank you ladies for all your nice comments. I will add a little more information for you. My old sewing room was up-stairs so when I started my sewing business I needed to have it accessible for my clients. I had to do some juggling of furniture. My den is where I put my living room furniture. I had to give some chairs away and put my piano in my dining room but the most important thing was getting my sewing room. I had my sewing furniture made in Canada (just across the river) I have been eyeballing my den as I'm running out of space again in my sewing room. lol We could always watch t.v. out on the deck.....

I'm so jealous. I have a 9 x10 room that is half office, half sewing room. I basically have a sewing desk!
