    It differs with your bed. My bed required 16" from edge of box springs to the floor. I added 2 inches for attaching and hemming. You measure the length of the side (x2) and across the bottom. I think mine was 60+60+55 (not sure but I'm close) so I needed 175+6 (for edges - the hem if you will) = 181 inches by 16 inches. The decking (what goes on top of the box springs and below the mattress) I used an old queen size sheet. I hope this helps!

    I, too, am DVR'ing the QIAD series. I have this book, too. I love your version of this great quilt! The fabrics/colors are just wonderful. And your LA'er did a beautiful job. Kudos to both of you!!!
