Poor Joe Ann hasn't even received Melanie's center yet! I guess the Canadian post and Customs can be slow. It took a full two weeks for kgoodhand's to get here.

esq's centre arrived! And it's even more beautiful in person! It's going straight up on the design wall to speak to me! It's so beautiful, I'm sure it'll sing it's little heart out! :D

The swatch card you sent with it is such a great idea- wish I'd thought of that! Means I don't have to risk taking the actual centre out with me when I go shopping. Shall I add a swatch of whatever I use for the next person?

Oh no, Melanie, I didn't mean it that way! I'm sorry. JoeAnn and I were talking last night, and it's only been a week. It took a little more than two weeks for kgoodhand's DQ to get here, so we aren't worrying. Besides, I'm still auditioning fabrics for Joe Ann's center!!!

Feel free to add swatches to the card...I thought it might be helpful, particularly for people that had to travel to an LQS and didn't want to lug the center or the bigger quilt along with them.

Would you all like me to enclose small swatches of whatever fabric I use with your quilt so you can use those along the way?

Absolutely! Esq, I think that's a great idea. I'll make up a swatch (there's that word again  ) card and mail it to you today or tomorrow so you can put it in with my center. You're so bright if you'd been a boy your mom would have called you sun!

hardy har har - lol.

Yea, the swatch is a good idea. I don't know which notice it came in, but I could swear it was in one of the mailng suggestions about how to send out the center...so, can't take credit for the idea. I was just following the marching orders...
