    Isosceles triangle baby quilt

Thank you for your suggestions on seam-pressing! Once I got into the swing of this, it was easy to put together. I used a Quilt Sense Kalaidoscope ruler, and purchased fabrics online from Hawthorne Threads. Modern quilts are out of my comfort zone, but I am pleased with this little quilt! (I pressed seams to the side, alternating direction in each row, and pressed the seams open between the rows).
Mommy-to-be requested a triangle quilt using mustard, mint and grey. They will not know the gender of the baby prior to birth. I added some navy dots and white on white, and the binding has faux piping. I even found backing fabric with tiny triangles. Hope this is what she has in mind!

I love everything about your quilt. You were so right to add that pop of navy, and I love the way you quilted it. The backing is perfect. What a great job!

Those are colors I probably wouldn't choose together, but they look great in your quilt. I like the simple straight line quilting as well. A lovely job.

I love everything about this quilt - colors, layout, quilting, back, binding - did I miss anything? I think you have a future in modern quilts.

No pattern.....just cut out lots of triangles and played with layout until it looked ok, then lots and lots of pinning to get the points to match. I starched the fabric pretty well prior to cutting-helps tame those bias edges!

Thanks, I've a fat quarter bundle and a baby quilt to make so think I will have a go with that. Can you tell me what width you cut your strips and the angle you used? Much appreciated.
