Isosceles triangle baby quilt

Thank you for your suggestions on seam-pressing! Once I got into the swing of this, it was easy to put together. I used a Quilt Sense Kalaidoscope ruler, and purchased fabrics online from Hawthorne Threads. Modern quilts are out of my comfort zone, but I am pleased with this little quilt! (I pressed seams to the side, alternating direction in each row, and pressed the seams open between the rows).
Mommy-to-be requested a triangle quilt using mustard, mint and grey. They will not know the gender of the baby prior to birth. I added some navy dots and white on white, and the binding has faux piping. I even found backing fabric with tiny triangles. Hope this is what she has in mind! |

I love everything about your quilt. You were so right to add that pop of navy, and I love the way you quilted it. The backing is perfect. What a great job!

Looks great...she should love it.

Those are colors I probably wouldn't choose together, but they look great in your quilt. I like the simple straight line quilting as well. A lovely job.

Sharp, modern looking quilt! I love the backing and flange binding also!
|
You did an excellent job. Mom to be will love it.
