These are easily made with the 60° line on a regular ruler. Simply cut your strips whatever width you want, then use the 60° line to make cuts.

Looks gorgeous and you followed the brief perfectly....love the addition of the navy, that was clever. She will love it.

It turned out great. I would have panicked at the thought of her colors. Your addition of the navy and white fabrics really added life to this quilt. Great job!
