That is a neat find. I would love to have a ironing board that converts to a step ladder.

a friend of mine took an old ironing board and covered it with an old tablecloth and used it for her plants in front of a window, I thought that was a cool idea for recycling and it looked fantastic.

I have one, not nearly as old and sturdy as yours-think it was made for a tourist industry. I love it. Use the ironing board all the time for quilting because it is smaller and easier to put up and down than my big one.(Not that it is down very much. Great find.
