Nice haul! Just FYI, I think those are embroidery machine bobbins. They are probably a 60 weight thread. Just be sure to check before using!

It wouldn't surprise me since much of what this particular woman brings in IS embroidery items, but the lady in the shop seemed to know who the woman was, and said she was pretty sure they were 40...but I didn't know what she was talking about at the time since I'm still new to this hobby (but now I do, thank you!). I did feel them, and they feel pretty thin, actually...thinner almost than what I typically use (which is an 'all purpose' thread, and I have no idea what weight it is)...it didn't feel heavy or thick like the embroidery threads that were there.

Maybe it's marked on the box and I didn't notice. If they are, I'll return them tomorrow for something else

Happy Birthday to you!!!! You found some great stuff! I have the Olfa cutter that retracts when you let loose of the handle. I love it!
