    Thank you. Its actually a pink binding. There is a little red polka dot in the quilt and some pink polka dot but I chose to do the binding in the solid pink. I was hoping to find a green pin strip but with limited time the pink was the best I could find. My son called only 2 weeks ago wanting me to do a quilt for his girlfriend so I didnt have much time to shop for fabric. Some came from my stash (red polka dot, yellow, and the teal with white flowers) and the rest i found at Hobby Lobby.

    Beautiful colorful quilt. Your son's girlfriend is so very lucky to have you for a friend. I especially love the embroidered date and lollipop packaging idea. Can't believe it's your first finished quilt....you're a star!
