Mary--your kitty and pillow are adorable!! I love the colors you used.

The denim quilt is going to be great. I would not put batting (or "wadding" as you Brits say) in this quilt because between the denim and the flannel--it is already going to be warm and VERY heavy. Please show us the quilt again when you are finished--I think Jake is going to be thrilled.

PS--I love your strawberry joke!!

I just love your new hat! Lol! Cute ....

Seriously though, I like the set a lot. It is a wonderful gift that I know they will appreciate very much. What a good friend you are.

The denim one is going to be neat too. I like reusing my old jeans for things like this. I use greens and bright blue cottons to pump it up a little and sometimes embroidery. Very fun. I am looking for ward to seeing what you do with yours.

Oh thanks Marcia, I was wondering about whether to use wadding or not, you read my mind!

Very cute kitty! What did you stuff her with? She looks good riding on your head!

The denim quilt will be nice. I like the idea of using his name for the quilting design. It does NOT need wadding, it will be heavy enough with the denim and flannel!
